Paris was the final chapter of our 2025 European journey. In two full days we moved from royal halls to riverside light, from the Louvre's masterpieces to the Eiffel Tower glowing after dark.

01 · VERSAILLES

A morning of royal scale

We began at Versailles, walking through rooms built to impress and gardens that seemed to continue forever. For the children, history became something they could finally see at full size.

02 · THE SEINE

Paris in the evening light

A cruise on the Seine carried us past bridges and monuments as the day softened. The sunset brought back memories of Leslie Cheung's Sunset in Paris, and the melody of Missing You quietly returned to mind.

03 · THE LOUVRE

Art, glass and city streets

At the Louvre we admired both the collection and I. M. Pei's glass pyramid. Outside, Paris continued in riverbanks, cafés and streets that made even an ordinary walk feel cinematic.
