Our Pacific Northwest journey began in Seattle. The children found wonder in old trains and giant aircraft, while the landscape opened from the city skyline to Snoqualmie Falls and the sea.

01 · SNOQUALMIE

Railway history and a forest waterfall

We followed old tracks and preserved railcars before reaching Snoqualmie Falls. The power of the water and the quiet of the surrounding forest made the excursion feel far from the city.

02 · MUSEUM OF FLIGHT

A very big world above us

Classic airliners and the Boeing 787 made everyone look small. Damon explored with his sunglasses on and delivered some of the journey's most memorable expressions.

03 · SEATTLE GREAT WHEEL

The city at golden hour

We ended by the waterfront, rising above the piers in the Great Wheel as warm light entered the cabin. Soon after, the highway carried us toward the Canadian border.
